Preparing tap timers for winter

Be sure you check with your local water authorities for any sprinkler bans
We recommend either reducing the watering time or turning it off completely
In really cold climates, we suggest that you remove the battery and make sure there is no water left inside the tap timer
If you live in an area that gets frost, we recommend taking off the tap timer completely and storing it away for the meantime

I had no issues at all configuring this WiFi timer module. Didn’t need to read the instructions as it was easy. I don’t know why people say it’s was very difficult because it was simple. Sturdy built product also.

Far Too Complex

I bought the wifi hub. I’ve connected a lot of things over the years but this device is just far too complex. I can’t even get past the first step. I won’t ever be buying more Holman’s gear that uses wifi. Sounded good in theory

Valve failed on first use

Hub setup was a nightmare - but managed to get it done finally. Set up the time and put on a schedule to test it. First test and the valve has failed. Clicks like it is shutting off, but only slightly reduces the flow. Will take it back to bunnings for replacement - but how can I trust this to water when I'm away for weeks at a time?

Just Brilliant

I have several manual timers in the garden, so I upgraded to this Holman WiFi setup. Well this now keeps the wife happy while we are away as I can now turn On or Off her water ......system.

Excellent product

I've had this product for more than a year now and it works properly.
It needs a bit of patience to set it up but easy to use and control.

Only buy if you are an IT engineer

Wi fi hub connection

Finally got garden wi fi watering operational
Many hours trying to connect via 2.4 GHz even with long talking with a help line, ,YES works well , but seriously difficult for the average punter to get going

BX1 and Customer Support.

Bluetooth BX1and BX2 water timers have performed extremely well and easy to setup.I have 4 Holman Bluetooth timers.I find the convenience of changing settings on my mobile phone rather than at the tap is a great benefit for me.
I have contacted the support section by email when I needed advice and they gave me some clear and honest answers which helped me improve my setup.

Works well

We have a large garden and it is working well. I tried the orbit b hyve and I would loose connection all the time . But no problems so far with the Holman Wx1 Only have the one timer so looking to get two more but have move the single one around my big garden and it works well with good wifi connection

Awesome

I have purchased four of these timers and added them to my lawns, pergola and shed area. They are perfect which now allows us to holiday without fear of losing any plants. I have had incredible support from the help section. They have been spot on with that support. Thoroughly recommend.
