Preparing tap timers for winter

Be sure you check with your local water authorities for any sprinkler bans
We recommend either reducing the watering time or turning it off completely
In really cold climates, we suggest that you remove the battery and make sure there is no water left inside the tap timer
If you live in an area that gets frost, we recommend taking off the tap timer completely and storing it away for the meantime

Holman Misting Timer

Managed to set the time but then dial reverts to default setting.
Managed to set misting time but cannot select a day so only works manually.
Manual Off button jams.
When in operation, mist does not reach all the way around the verandah.

Purchased this before winter but then went away for 3 months.
Just set it up last week for 1st hot days coming.
Managed to set clock but keeps reverting to default time.
Managed to set misting time but have to do it manually as
Cannot set day selection.
Push button on manual off is also jamming.

Had this working for two days, then it stopped letting water through. There would be the noise of the valve opening and closing but no water

Worked for one summer but then the push buttons to adjust the settings were not working. I have bought a new one to replace it with fingers crossed that it will work for more than one summer 🤞

Great disappointment

Timer does not switch on at set times. I have to switch system on manually.

Epic Fail

Bought this a couple of days before Christmas and tested it successfully. But on a hot 42c Christmas afternoon it packed up. The on/off timers worked but water would not flow through. Big let down. Very frustrating. Spoilt the afternoon.

Short Burst Watering Intervals
